How can I politely say this, A.J. Glassman is a short, fat dumb ass prick. His real name is Arnold. That fits, like Arnold the pig from Green Acres. Oh, maybe I'm too harsh. He not only is not smart, but appears to prey upon and rip off his own clients. He cannot be trusted, he fights with judges, he has "little man" syndrome (he's short, maybe 5'3", and fat), typical loud mouth, no substance, won't listen and simply nauseating.

The only good thing is because he is not very smart, you can litigate circles around him. He simply has a big mouth (and big gut). Now he also went to the University of La Verne for law school. Well, I don't want to be elitist, after all, I did not go to Harvard of Yale, but I see why he could not get in to an accredited law school, he's not the brightest bulb in the box.

This is the type of guy who you cannot reason with, even if you send him clear law on an issue. He loves discovery motions (he will file motions on minor issues, send a "meet and confer" to respond in 7 days and file a motion if you do not do exactly as he says. In my case, the Judge was too polite, but the Judge asked him to simply try to get along with opposing counsel and work something out (these were minor issues, and technically not a discovery violation) he did not care. Niether did the judge, his motions were denied. (The motions were three pages long and he also asked for about $2,500, one motion was for a single RFA for which he did not like the "qualified admission"--Glassman refused to accept the balance of the statute permitting qualified responses.

In the end, my case settled. The settlement judge did not think very highly of Glassman. I always thought you try to ingratiate yourself to judicial officers, especially during a settlement conference, he preferred to antagonize the Judge. Oh well!

Anyway, he is they type of guy you understand why he is a sole prac***ioner --- no one can get along with him!

---I hope we meet again!
