Schwartz is the UD Queen of Van Nuys. When she started the regular "landlord attorneys" freaked out because she actually tried to follow the law. That meant sometimes the tenants won.

She is practical, but some people are put off by her whiny New Yorkish whine. I think she is a sweet person who tries to do her best and I've never felt short changed by her. She enjoys a discussion of the law and if you know your law you will do well with her. She also tries to encourage settlement and for lawyers to not waste time.

She has some quirks, but hell, so do 99% of the lawyer population!

PS I like that she does not start her calendar until after 9:00 am
