I love this lady. She has always been sweet and practical. She is very big on settlement. Sometimes her friendliness misleads lawyers who may try pushing her. But she will quickly enter an order or judgment.

She is one of the few 15+ year judges who is nowhere near burn out. I hope she works another 15+ years.

I remember Judge Bruguera from back when she was a Deputy AG. She was then, as she is now, a completely dedicated public servant. I wish we had more folks on the bench who recognize that they are there to serve the people.

She's lazy (doesn't take the bench until 10:00 or so), very plaintiff-oriented, and does not like making decisions. What a waste of the taxpayers' money. A definite 170.6!!!

Her courtroom is like a circus. She talks to people sitting in the back of the courtroom, leaves the bench to go back in her chambers to make copies, not to mention she's lazy and doesn't read briefing. I've been in front of alot of judges downtown and she is hands down the worst. I'll have my 170.6 ready should I be unfortunate enough to have another case assigned to her.
