Judge Miller is relatively new to this department, having replaced Judge Fumiko Wasserman when she was transferred to the Appellate Division a year or so ago. I have found Judge Miller to be somewhat arrogant and impatient at times. She tends to think she knows more than she actually does and as result, will refuse to listen to oral argument. Her bio indicates that she was a former LA County Bar Association president and graduated #1 in her class at Loyola--proof that being a great student and popular attorney doesn't necessarily make a great judge. She needs to work on her people skills!
